Data Governance Officer
Salary: Starting at £28,913 with annual increments to £30,152 
Location: Cheltenham
Employment type: 37 hours per week (permanent)

We are currently seeking a Data Governance Officer to position us to meet the challenges of current and emerging Data Protection legislation and to be at the heart of the Company’s approach to data management.

We need someone with the skills and knowledge to develop and maintain processes and frameworks that ensure the significant amounts of data we hold are managed and maintained to high standards.

You will need to be:

  • Tenacious and resourceful
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  •  Have a willingness to learn.

You should have experience in dealing with the Data Protection Act plus an understanding of the upcoming legislative changes in this area. You should also have experience with managing data quality and making use of that data.

Development Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)
Salary: Grade K £46,856 – £50,434 (plus essential car user allowance)
Location: Cheltenham House, Cheltenham
Employment type: 37 hours per week (temporary up to 12 months)

We are currently seeking a maternity cover replacement for the Development Manager.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, highly driven and commercially astute. Working in a busy and challenging environment the focus of this role will be to deliver key development projects in accordance with Cheltenham Borough Homes’ aims and objectives.

For this role you will need to have experience of:

  • Working in the construction, regeneration or property development sector – preferably in a Development Manager role.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the development process including planning, post contract processes, contract law and viability principles and valuation matters.
  • HCA Standards, requirements and procedures.
  • Project and programme management with a track record of success.
  • Securing Section 106 schemes with a track record of success.
  • Detailed understanding of the relevant legal, regulatory operational and strategic management issues.

This role currently requires you to have a vehicle available for work, for which you will be paid an allowance.  This will be reviewed annually and is subject to change.

Housing Revenues Recovery Officer
Salary: Grade E £23,791 – £24,964 (plus essential car user allowance)
Location: Oakley, Cheltenham
Employment type: 37 hours per week (permanent)

We are currently seeking a Housing Revenues Recovery Officer.

Working in a busy and challenging environment within our Housing Services Team the successful candidate will administer the former tenant arrears and rechargeable invoice systems, collecting outstanding arrears, and taking enforcement actions as and when necessary.

The successful candidate will help deliver a high quality rent arrears prevention and income maximisation service. To work with referral agencies to maximise income and reduce debt for current and former CBH and CBC tenants.

For this role you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role within a finance/debt collection environment involving direct contact with customers
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own work and show initiative
  • Intermediate word processing skills using Microsoft Word, i.e. Ability to produce letters, reports and other documents
  • Ability to set up and review detailed processes in accordance with legal requirements, standing orders and financial regulations
  • Access to your own transport for work purposes
  • Ability to negotiate in what may sometimes be difficult and/or sensitive circumstances
