Back to School for our Community Teams

classroomCartoonThroughout June our community teams will be stepping back into the classroom to raise awareness of the impact of anti-social behaviour (ASB) on families and their community.

After a successful introduction last year to primary school children on the negative effects of ASB on communities, the teams have yet again decided to join forces with the Police to deliver extra special lessons on the subject.

Our Safer Estates, Communnity Development and Neighbourhood Teams will be working with 6 primary schools around Cheltenham to spread the word and raise awarenss of ASB.

Currently 14 members of staff are currently involved in the project and are expecting to deliver lessons to 157 year 6 students in total. Our teams will be working in partnership with local Police and PCSOs and will provide pupils with the opportunity to talk about the different types of ASB, where it can happen, who can be involved and what they can do if they see it happening.
