LET’S TALK about ways to combat stress, anxiety & depression…

let_us_talk_65Every day thousands of people across the UK suffer from stress, anxiety or depression. It’s more common than you think but there is free support out there to help you.

We will be delivering a FREE 6 weekLet’s Talk – Stress and Anxiety for Older Adults’ programme in partnership with the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust at the Wallace House Community Health and Wellbeing Hub starting on Wednesday 16th September, 2-3.30pm.

Those who have previously attended ‘Let’s Talk’ programmes have found them to be incredibly useful, interesting and enjoyable – and a great way to meet people and make friends as well as learn about the topics covered and this is an ideal Level 2 course for those who have already completed the foundation level ‘Let’s Talk Emotional Wellbeing’.

Please be advised that although the course is primarily aimed at those aged 50+, we will also welcome other participants for whom the sessions would be beneficial, such as those with long term medical conditions, chronic health problems, mental health issues, and/or disabilities.

Places will be limited to 16 and advance booking is essential (completion of NHS registration forms is also required).

Subsidised transport can be arranged for CBH residents living in sheltered accommodation who are unable to make their way to the venue independently.

Let’s Talk is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapy service (IAPT) run by the NHS service talk2gether. It’s free and help on offer includes information, guidance and counselling during times when you feel stressed, anxious or depressed.

Their services can be found at

In addition they also offer self-help tips and a range of free local courses found here
