Focus Groups

We have a number of focus group who meet regualrly to look at the services we deliver and how we can improve them.

We currently support the following groups:

Tenant and resident associations (TARA’s)
TARA’s are made up of local volunteers who represent tenants, leaseholders and residents living in their neighbourhoods. TARA’S are formally constituted groups that represent a particular area, perhaps a block, street or whole estate.  Each group has a committee made up of a chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and committee members drawn from the local community.

consultationTechnical Services Working Group
The role of the Technical Services Working Group is to monitor, review and improve areas, including digital switchover, gas maintenance and annual maintenance.

All members actively participate in all aspect of the responsive repairs services and project activities and also focus on our empty home services. The working group meets monthly with tenants and staff to monitor, review and improve service delivery.

Launch in April 2012 the Disabled Community Forum (DCF) has been making a real difference shaping CBH’s policies, procedures and services.  To date the group has looked at a number of service areas from the point of view of disabled tenants, their families and carers.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month, and is regularly attended by up to 30 tenants with a range of disabilities.

Meeting once a month the group look at CBH services and planning Polish-English events for CBH tenants and the wider community. The group is open to all Polish tenants.
