Responsive Repairs Supervisor
£28,913 – £30,152

Location: The Depot

We are currently seeking a Responsive Repairs Supervisor to provide an excellent day to day, void and planned maintenance service.

The focus of this role will be carrying out pre inspections in occupied properties, diagnosis of building defects, recommending the appropriate course of action, working with the in house team and external contractors to remedy property defects effectively and to a high standard.

For this role you will need to have experience of:

  • Undertaking pre inspections for complex repairs
  • Diagnosis of building defects at properties
  • Following recognised building practice and best practice to resolve defects
  • Undertaking post inspections
  • Managing contractors
  • Providing services that meet required Health and Safety obligations and British Standards

Community Activities Coordinator

Location: Hester’s Way Community Resource Centre

We are currently seeking a Community Activities Coordinator to lead the delivery of enhanced services to vulnerable people through a network of community based hubs across Cheltenham.   The post holder will actively work in partnership with other partners and service providers to reduce social isolation and loneliness whilst promoting health and wellbeing. 

For this role you will need to have knowledge and experience of:

  • working on own initiative
  • understanding of the needs of older, vulnerable or disabled people
  • planning activities and events in a similar role
  • delivering a wide range of activities and events for older, vulnerable or disabled people which evidence improvement to health and wellbeing and quality of life
  • partnerships with health and social care professionals, statutory, independent and voluntary organisations
  • research, promotion and marketing of services
  • report writing

This role currently requires you to have a vehicle available for work, for which you will be paid an allowance.
