General Plastering Trades Operative
Salary: starting at £21,248 per annum with annual increments to £22,658
Location: Cheltenham

Employment type: 37 hours per week (permanent), plus 0.5 contractual overtime per week

We are currently seeking a General Plastering Trade Operative to provide an effective and efficient repair, maintenance and replacement service to enable the delivery of Responsive Repairs.

For this role you will need to have experience of:

  • Carrying out general plastering including patching, board and skim, rendering and traditional two coat work.
  • Be able to work effectively with customers, senior managers and colleagues.
  • Working effectively in a team environment or under your own initiative.
  • Be highly organised.

For this role, out of hours working may be necessary and you must hold a full clean driving licence.

Salary: Starting at £23,791 with annual increments to £24,964 plus an optional Call out Allowance, up to a maximum of circa £3,500 based on a rota

Benefit and Money Advisor (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Grade G, £28,913 -£30,152 plus essential car user allowance 
Location: Oakley (Cheltenham)
Employment type: 37 hours per week (Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months)

The focus of this role will be to work with CBH tenants in our communities to help maximise their income, promote financial capability and independence through the delivery of our effective benefit and money advice service.

For this role you will need to have the following:

  • A comprehensive understanding of all welfare benefit matters and budgeting advice
  • Experience of acting as an advocate for someone who may find themselves needing this kind of help and advice
  • Strongly motivated and have the ability to work independently using your initiative
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience of partnership working and able to provide reports as and when required
  • Access to transport for work purposes

Senior Building Surveyor
Salary: Grade H, starting at £31,735 with annual increments £33,443
Location: Cheltenham
Employment type: 37 hours per week (permanent)

We are currently seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to work within our Technical & Investment Team; to deliver planned programme works, from project inception and survey, through preparation of detailed specifications to procurement and administration of the delivery of works.

For this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and knowledge in the area of:

  • Property planned maintenance
  • Improvement and compliance
  • Have good communication and co-ordination skills
  • Be a team player
  • Have a passion for delivering a high class customer focussed service.

You will need to be able to work autonomously, show initiative and be self-motivated to deliver work to tight deadlines.

You will preferably need to have experience of working in a social housing environment.

Property Compliance Manager
Salary:
Grade I, starting at £35,449 with annual increments to £38,082
Location: Cheltenham
Employment type: 37 hours per week (permanent)

We are currently seeking a Property Compliance Manager to work within our Technical & Investment Team.

To manage a small team ensuring compliance in relation to gas, asbestos, water and fire risk management, provide comprehensive support and assistance to the Technical & Investment Team in delivering contracts for maintaining and improving the housing stock as well as advice and support.

For this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and knowledge in the area of property compliance, good communication and co-ordination skills and have a passion for delivering a high class customer focussed service.

You will need to be able to work autonomously, show initiative, and motivate your team to deliver work to tight deadlines.

You will preferably need to have experience of working in a social housing or other property compliance role, however we are willing to consider this as a development role for a candidate with the right qualities.
